Finding a sink was difficult for this project. The sink I went with is the Phoenix 14" Under-mount stainless bar sink. This sink was the perfect size for what I was looking for while being plenty deep.
Finding a faucet was quite a challenge. I found that most faucets in the style that I was looking at were far too tall. After returning a few I went with Kablle Commercial Single Handle Brushed Nickel Kitchen Faucet.
I went with the SHURFLO 4008-101-A65 water pump with matching Accumulator Tank and strainer. The pump has great pressure, turns off quickly after pressure is reached and is relatively quiet.
When considering a toilet, I wanted a built-in model without the hassle of installing / dumping a black tank. I decided to go with the Thetford C224 which is a completely manual cassette toilet, complete with its own water tank. This toilet is great because it contains no electronics to fail and the manual pump allows you to control the amount of water going into the bowl. Many toilets on the market have a horrible track record of pumps and electric parts failing. The electric flushing mechanisms are not adjustable and tend to fill up the already small built in holding tank far to fast.
I decided to use Pex for the fresh hot and cold water systems. Pex is easy to work with and is relatively cheap. I would recommend buying the pex tool and purchasing the corresponding connectors, elbows, and ball valves for this application. SharkBite also makes push to connect fittings that plug right into the pex but they are very expensive, it makes more sense to buy the PEX Crimp Tool and the cheaper parts unless your freshwater system is relatively small using few parts.
I Purchased a 30-gallon fresh water holding tank which I placed under the couch / bed. I would have preferred to have a tank with ballasts, but the price tag deterred it.
I did not want to have propane in the van, so I went with a 4-gallon Bosch Water Heater. If the sun is out I have enough power to heat the water during the day and the water stays hot into the evening.
I went with a shower head that has an on/off switch on the handle itself. I used an extra long hose in order to reach out the back door to shower outside and attach a Suction Cup Holder to the back doors.
I went with this shower hose in order to be able to shower outside the back of the van if weather permits.
I used a water fill on the back of the galley cabinet to avoid cutting a hole in the side of the van. I used this Fill Hose to connect it to the freshwater tank.
I used this fill hose due to lack of choices at the local big box hardware stores.
I used this Motorized Ball Valve in order to dump gray water with a flip of a switch (where it is legal). Thanks Sara and Alex (40 Hours of Freedom) for the Idea!
IWISS PEX Tool was a great investment for this project it saved a ton of money over push to connect type connectors.
OPai Vacuum Suction Cup Shower Head Wall Mount Holder. Used to hold the shower head on the rear doors.
SHURFLO Black 182-200 Accumulator Tank Allows for smooth pressure within the freshwater system
SHURFLO (255-313) 12 Twist-On Pipe Strainer keeps any tank debris from reaching the faucet.
